Tonight

Today is National POW/MIA Recognition Day.

We remember and honor the brave American men and women who were prisoners of war and those who never came home and remain missing in action. Nearly 81,000 Americans are still unaccounted for from past conflicts. Behind every number is a name, a life, and a family still waiting for answers.

Across America, flags are to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset in their honor.

Please also remember that tonight at 6:00 PM, there will be a special POW/MIA ceremony at our Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. I hope you can join us as we remember those who served and sacrificed and those who are still missing.

And today is Friday. Wear something RED for Remember Everyone Deployed. Our troops are serving and fighting in Iran and throughout the Middle East. We remember them, pray for their safety, and pray for their families.

NEVER FORGET.

Freedom is never free.

God bless our troops, our veterans, our POWs and MIAs, and their families.
