🏆 The work you don’t always see is often the work that matters most.

It takes a tremendous amount of work to keep our parks and facilities clean, safe, and ready for the thousands of residents and visitors who use them each year.

That’s why we are incredibly proud to recognize our Maintenance & Custodial Teams, who were named Maintenance Team of the Year at the Arkansas Recreation and Parks Association’s annual conference in Fort Smith last week! 👏

These teams are the people behind the scenes, doing the work that keeps everything moving:

🗑️ Picking up trash during tournaments
🚽 Unclogging toilets
🌱 Mowing miles of grass
🎨 Cleaning up graffiti
🔧 Repairing broken equipment
🧹 Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming… again and again
AND SO MUCH MORE!

It’s not always glamorous work. It’s not always noticed. But it is absolutely essential.

Every clean restroom, well-maintained field, spotless facility, and ready-to-use park has someone behind it who cared enough to make it happen.

Our maintenance and custodial teams are a huge part of the backbone of Cabot Parks & Recreation, and we are incredibly grateful for the pride, dedication, and countless hours they pour into serving our community.

Congratulations on an honor you have more than earned! 🏆💚

Work in our facilities.
Work where our community comes to play. ❤️
