💧 Another Win for the Town of Cairo!
We are pleased to announce that the Town of Cairo has been awarded a $50,000 New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (EFC) Wastewater Infrastructure Engineering Planning Grant! 🎉
This funding will be used to complete a Preliminary Inflow and Infiltration (PII) Study, which will help us identify areas where unwanted water may be entering our wastewater system and help us plan for future improvements.
This grant is an important step toward protecting our infrastructure, improving our wastewater system, and planning responsibly for Cairo’s future.
We are grateful to New York State and the Environmental Facilities Corporation for this funding and continued support of our community.
Another important investment in the future of the Town of Cairo! 💙💧

🇺🇸 The Town of Cairo Remembers and Honors Their Service 🇺🇸
At our October 5th Town Board meeting, the Town of Cairo will be recognizing Bill Mirando, Rick Stanfield, Brian Lewis, PJ Pugsley, Ed Brandt, Ken Goetz and Lenny Asaro, for their selfless service and dedication following the tragic events of September 11, 2001.
These men answered the call and traveled to Ground Zero to help in the aftermath of 9/11. Their willingness to leave their families and community to help others during one of our nation’s darkest moments is something we will always remember and honor.
25 years later, we say thank you. ❤️🇺🇸
Your service, sacrifice, and compassion will never be forgotten.

Program provides income-eligible consumers with a discount on their monthly electric and/or gas bills.

🚒❤️ Another Win for the Town of Cairo! ❤️🚒
The Town of Cairo would like to thank Senator Michele Hinchey for presenting the Round Top Volunteer Fire Company with a check for $144,240.00 to purchase much-needed Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).
This funding will help provide our firefighters with the equipment they need to safely protect themselves and our community.
