Here's another look at the probability for Wind Advisory level wind gusts (46+ mph) tonight through Sunday morning as the remnants of Isaias cross the region. Strongest wind gusts will be across the PA/WV ridges, Laurel Highlands, and adjacent locations.

Not much has changed with the forecast for the arrival of what will be the remnants of Hurricane Isaias. Rain arrives Saturday night and continues into Sunday night, with a soaking rain that carries low risks for localized flooding. Gusty wind is also expected, particularly in and near the high terrain.

If you remember, this time last year, 64% of the area was in drought (with parts of the area in severe drought), compared to 0% this year thanks to a wet August/September. This may very well lead to more vibrant fall foliage this year compared to the last couple years.
