Caldwell Pathways and Bike Routes Committee Planning the future of pathways in and around Caldwell.

The Committee, appointed by the Caldwell City Council, recommends infrastructure improvements that make Caldwell a safer place for pedestrians and cyclists.

⚠ Kimball Mini Plaza + Alleyway Update

Crews formed and placed concrete in the alleyway between 9th Street and the park.

What to expect this week:
- Crews will demo the existing alleyway behind Grit 2C and Chop Shop on Wednesday, Sept. 2.

Once the demo is complete, the alleyway will still be accessible until mid-September.

🚴‍♂️🚶🏿‍♂️ The pedestrian bridge over I-84 in Caldwell is closing Monday, Jan. 20 through early 2026 for improvement work. 🔨

⚠️ Expect nightly lane closures on I-84 for a few weeks as crews prepare the bridge for improvements.
