We have had at least two vehicles stolen this morning and have reason to believe more vehicles will be targeted today.
Please check for your vehicles and report any missing vehicles to Canyon County Dispatch immediately at 208-454-7531.
As a reminder, lock your vehicles, do not leave them running with the keys in the ignition, and park near cameras to deter and identify thieves.

Hammoud’s Heroics Saves Stranger | The College of Idaho Hammoud sent one of his friends back to the car to retrieve his EMT bag while others called 9-1-1, and Hammoud snapped into action to help the injured man.

UPDATE-Earlier today Caldwell Police Officers responded to a domestic violence call at a home on College Ave.
With our officers using lines of communication and deescalation tactics, the suspect surrendered without force or incident at 12:40 this afternoon.
Please avoid the area of College and Ash. College of Idaho Campus Safety has been notified and they are locking down buildings in that area. There is no threat at the college.

This afternoon the College of Idaho and Caldwell High School were briefly placed in a lockdown as we responded to the report of an individual with a weapon. Thankfully, it was a FALSE alarm and both campuses are now open.

NYSSA MOURNS: Procession winds into Nyssa to memorialize Cpl Joseph Johnson - Malheur Enterprise NYSSA MOURNS: Police officers, firefighters and medics escorted the family of Joseph "JJ" Johnson from Ontario to Nyssa on Saturday, April 22, for a public memorial. Along the 12-mile route, people stood quietly, some holding flags, others saluting out of respect.

Parking in Jewet maybe limited tonight and tomorrow...
We have quite a few events happening on campus this evening, so please allow yourself time to find parking before Pinocchio: 2023 College of Idaho Spring Theatre Production at 7 PM!
Our Langroise/Jewett parking lot will fill up very quickly, if this is the case, please park in our General Parking lot over by the athletics building. It's a short, safe walk across campus grounds.
There is additional parking, indicated by number 27 on the map below, this is the lot for our student apartments that would also be a great option for events in Jewett & Langroise.
Online pre-sales have closed! Box office opens at 6 PM. We can't wait to see you there tonight!
