A new look with an important message. 🚓 💜

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and we’re proud to unveil Caldwell Police Department’s newly redesigned Domestic Violence Awareness patrol vehicle.

The purple graphics carry messages that are simple, but important: No More. Zero Tolerance. Stop Domestic Violence.

This vehicle will serve as a visible reminder throughout our community that domestic violence should never be ignored, and that help and resources are available for those experiencing abuse.

We’re also proud to highlight our community partners at Advocates Against Family Violence, whose contact information is displayed directly on the vehicle so that support is never far away.

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911.

💜 Together, we can continue raising awareness, supporting survivors, and working toward a community free from violence. 💜

Happening now!

Sgt. Gregory is talking with Norma from KIVI about e-bike safety following last night’s Caldwell City Council discussion regarding a proposed local e-bike ordinance.

E-bikes continue to grow in popularity, and conversations around safe operation, rider awareness and community safety are becoming increasingly important.

🚨 MISSING AT-RISK ADULT 🚨

The Caldwell Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating 90-year-old Walter Chick.

Walter is approximately 5’5” tall, 140 pounds, and was last seen wearing a gray top and black pants. He is on foot and has dementia.

Walter was last seen at approximately 2:00 PM in the 11700 block of Roanoke Drive, near US 20/26 and S. KCID Road.

If you see Walter or have any information regarding his whereabouts, please call 911 immediately.

Please share to help us bring Walter home safely.

We had a sweet surprise during National Coffee with a Cop Day when Becky with Mark43 stopped by with boxes of cookies for our staff!

Mark43 works with public safety agencies around the country, providing technology that supports everything from dispatch and records to investigations and day-to-day operations.

But today, Becky decided their most important public safety contribution was making sure our coffee didn’t have to stand alone.

Thank you, Becky, for thinking of us and for the incredibly thoughtful, and delicious, surprise. We appreciate you and Mark43 for supporting the people behind the badge and the communities we serve.

Coffee and conversation = A great morning!!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to spend part of National Coffee with a Cop Day with us this morning!

We had a great time visiting with community members, answering questions, introducing some of our officers, and putting a few of them to work behind the counter.

A special thank you to Starbucks (3004 Cleveland Blvd.) for welcoming us and providing a place where our officers and community could simply sit down, have a cup of coffee and get to know one another.

Even our Mounted Unit stopped by for a treat. Who said Pup cups were just for pups?

Thank you, Caldwell, for coming out, saying hello and spending the morning with us. These opportunities to connect outside of an emergency call or traffic stop are what Coffee With a Cop is all about. ☕️ 💙 👮‍♀️
