💙💛 GIRL POWER + STEM = AN INCREDIBLE DAY! 🔬👩‍🔬🚀

Today, 30 Syringa Middle School 8th graders joined 600 girls from across Idaho at The College of Idaho for TechGirlz, an amazing day of hands-on STEM exploration, innovation, and inspiration! 🌟 A huge shout out to title sponsor Women Innovators (W.IN) for helping make this experience possible!

These future scientists, engineers, and innovators got to explore ALL kinds of exciting STEM activities! 🤩

🏗️ Structural Engineering
🧪 Polymer Slime
🤖 AI Coding
⚙️ Building Wiggle Bots
🌬️ Wind Turbines
🌈 Chromatography
🧘‍♀️ Sound Bath & Yoga

And because brilliant brains need fuel, our girls enjoyed a delicious lunch in the college cafeteria! 🍽️😋

🏆 BUT WAIT… THERE'S MORE! 🏆

Our students also competed in an AI Study Bot Hack-a-Thon Design Challenge, putting their creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to the test against 51 teams!

🥈 Anjela Mendoza's team took 2nd PLACE!
🥉 Lily Fisher's team took 3rd PLACE!

🎉 TWO TOP-THREE FINISHES! WAY TO REPRESENT, COUGARS! 🐾💙💛

Experiences like TechGirlz are exactly why we're so excited about our GEAR UP program at Syringa! By connecting students with college campuses, STEM professionals, and hands-on career exploration, we're helping our students see that their futures are full of possibilities. 🎓✨

A HUGE thank-you to The College of Idaho, Women Innovators (W.IN), and everyone who helped make this incredible experience happen!

💙💛 The future of STEM is bright, and our Cougar girls are going to be a BIG part of it! 🚀
