Each September, National Voter Registration Day brings together partners across the country for one star spangled day of action focused on strengthening our democracy. It’s a nationwide effort to help Americans get registered and ready to vote — a celebration of civic unity and participation.
McLean County Senior Services is proud to support this important day. If you are age 60 or older, we are here to help you complete your Voter Registration Forms.

Health First is excited to announce a new partnership with KY Hears to expand access to hearing screenings for the communities we serve!

Beginning Thursday, September 9, KY Hears will provide services at Health First Community Health located at 295 Main Street in Calhoun from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM. This partnership is part of our mission to increase access to care and bring specialized services directly to our patients.
What Patients Need to Know
• Hearing evaluations and services are provided at no cost.
• The only potential cost is hearing aids.
• KY Hears accepts all insurance plans that provide hearing aid coverage and will always verify benefits first.
• If a patient has little or no hearing aid coverage, KY Hears works with multiple assistance programs to help patients obtain the devices they need.
• Their commitment is simple: If someone wants help hearing better, they will work to find a solution—regardless of their ability to pay.
