We are still in need of some art for our Silent Auction. Remember….ALL PROCEEDS benefit our library!!!!!

Calling ALL art lovers! Friends of the Library will be having a silent art auction Friday, September 11 (4PM-6 PM) and Saturday, September 12 (10 AM-1 PM).

We are in need of art donations that are related to a book or poem. All art forms (paintings, homemade jewelry, needlepoint, woodwork, ceramics, etc.) will be accepted. In addition, it doesn’t have to be handmade by you. For instance, if you have a painting that needs a new home, please donate it. Something as simple as a painting of a garden can be an interpretation of the classic, “The Secret Garden” by Frances Hodgson Burnett. A ceramic honey jar can be related to “Winnie the Pooh” by A.A Milne. These are just two examples. Use your imagination!!! This is open to ALL AGES!!!!

All proceeds will benefit the Calhoun-Gordon County Library.

All projects should be dropped off to the library by 6 PM on September 4.

You can register online by scanning the code in the graphic.
