The California City Police Department offers its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Tulare County Sheriff's Deputy Randy Hoppert, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Sgt Stewart was honored to participate in the California City Head Start classroom's “Read Across America” event by reading to the students. Thank you Head Start for the invitation.

Today students from California City Middle School, escorted by Mr. Gabriel and Ms. Nilsa, visited the California City Police Department. This selected group of students have an interest in Law Enforcement and were given an exclusive tour by Sgt Stewart. CCPD appreciates the collaboration with CCMS to inspire students.

Today we celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr, a man who brought hope and inspired healing to America.

PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE OF JOB: To receive and transmit routine and emergency telephone
and radio voice messages, dispatch assignments according to established police and fire
procedures, operate various telecommunications center equipment and provide clerical and
record keeping services to the Police Department

On December 20, 2025, the California City Chamber of Commerce invites you to its annual Christmas Parade, a family-friendly event that brings the community together.

The parade starts at 5pm, traveling eastbound on CCB from Hacienda Blvd to Conklin Blvd. Viewers can stand on the north side of CCB for the best views.

Please note that once the parade begins, crossing CCB or exiting local shops will not be allowed until it's over.

We recommend getting there early and using alternate routes to avoid traffic in this area.
