California City Professional Firefighters

California City Professional Firefighters Association local 3903 has unanimously decided to endorse Jessie Hightower in his campaign for California City Council. Jessie Hightower selflessly served his community for more than 20 years with the California City Police Department. Members of the California City Professional Firefighter association have worked closely beside Jessie Hightower in emergencies and stressful situations throughout his career with the California City Police Department. Jessie Hightower exemplifed courage, intgerty, and a strong work ethic throughout his duties in the department. The CCPFA believes Jessie's dedication and passion to serve the citizens of California City will be a strong attribute to the California City Council. The California City Professional Firefighters Association encourages citizens to vote Hightower for California City Council in the upcoming local elections.

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness we announce the passing of our brother Captain Karl Hegle. Captain Hegle started his career at California City.

Karl was larger than life, an amazing man with a giant heart of gold. We are going to miss your laugh, your ability to light up a room with your presence, morning coffee and those big Karl hugs. You were a friend, a leader and a mentor to many here at California City.

Our deepest condolences to his family, friends and fire family.
