Our Bigs and Littles hit the court for a fun-filled basketball game, sharing laughs, building connections, and making memories together! Everyone had an amazing time, and we’re so grateful to our partners at the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clara Valley for allowing us to use their facilities.

Every game, every laugh, and every moment together is another opportunity to strengthen mentoring relationships and show what it means to be a Big. 💚

Want to be part of the fun? Become a Big and help create meaningful memories with a young person in Ventura County!

Our High School Mentors and their Littles had a blast getting to know one another through a fun snowball icebreaker! Each student wrote a fun fact about themselves, crumpled it into a paper snowball, and tossed it into the mix. Once the snow settled, everyone picked a fact and tried to guess who it belonged to!

This fun activity sparked conversations, encouraged new connections, and helped build a welcoming environment where everyone could feel more comfortable with their peers. Because sometimes, the smallest activities make the biggest difference in building meaningful relationships! 💚

At BBSVC, we’re creating spaces where youth can connect, grow, and thrive, one meaningful moment at a time!

Who believed in you when you needed it most? 💚

Maybe it was a teacher, a coach, or someone who simply kept showing up. Someone who reminded you that you mattered and helped you see what was possible.

At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County, we believe every young person deserves that kind of support. But right now, our ability to provide it is at risk. Without our community’s help, programs may close, and youth who depend on us could be turned away.

Will you help us be there for the next young person who needs someone in their corner?

Your gift of any size helps protect mentoring relationships and keep programs running.

💚 Give today at www.bbsvc.org/donate2026 and help us continue changing young lives, one relationship at a time.

A big shoutout to our incredible interns for organizing and representing BBSVC at CSU Channel Islands’ Foodie Tuesday tabling event on October 6!

Our interns took the initiative to organize and staff the BBSVC table, connecting with students across campus and sharing what it means to be a Big. Through meaningful conversations, they helped raise awareness about the power of mentorship, inspired others to get involved, and welcomed new sign-ups for our monthly newsletter.

We’re so proud of their dedication, creativity, and commitment to helping more youth experience the positive impact of having a mentor. Every conversation is an opportunity to make a connection, inspire someone to step up, and bring us closer to a future where every young person who wants a mentor has the opportunity to have one.

Thank you to our interns for being such wonderful ambassadors for BBSVC and helping us build a bigger future, together! 💚🖤

Fundraising turned into MAGIC!

Our Youth Leadership Council had an unforgettable summer trip to Disneyland!

These youth leaders mentor youth and give back to their community. They worked hard to raise their own funds by selling Bundt cakes for a special Grad Night for our graduating seniors! And of course, our freshmen, sophomores, and juniors joined in on the fun, too!

We’re so proud of these incredible leaders and all they do to make a difference! 💚🖤

From water slides to hiking trails, the Ventura County Fair to a day at the car show, Big Sister Sky and Little Sister Ava are already making the most of their time together!

Matched earlier this year, these two are proving that sometimes the best adventures are the ones shared with someone who simply shows up, listens, laughs, and makes memories alongside you. 💚

There are still youth in our community waiting for their own Big. We need 100 more Bigs to help create more matches like Sky and Ava.

Could you be the one who makes a difference in a young person’s life? Learn more and become a Big at www.bbsvc.org/100.
