$300,000 for the Harriet Tubman Museum and Education Center in Dorchester County, helping preserve and share the legacy of one of our region's most important historical figures.

Bring your car, bike, trike, skateboard, wagon, or your own two feet, and dress it up to celebrate early voting. We'll gather at Long Wharf and parade together, horns honking and bells ringing, to the Dorchester County Board of Elections to cast our ballots on the very first day of early voting.

Early voting starts this Thursday and runs through Oct 29 at 1000 Goodwill Avenue in Cambridge.

Skedaddle over and vote for Christine LaMonica for Dorchester County Sheriff, as well as all the other great Dems we have on the ticket this year!

Mental health is a public safety priority—and it’s personal to me.

I have witnessed firsthand how mental health and addiction affect our community and those who serve it.

If elected, I will work to implement a countywide co-responder model, pairing mental health clinicians with law enforcement on appropriate calls to help de-escalate crises and connect people with resources and follow-up support. We can learn from local agencies that have already taken this important step.

I will also work to reduce the stigma around seeking help and establish a strong mental health initiative for our deputies, corrections officers, dispatchers, and staff, with support for their families.

Caring for our community includes caring for the people who serve it. As Sheriff, I will make both a priority. 💚💜💙
