What exactly is the Water Quality Initiative?

It is a proposed $400 million program designed to take a long-term, countywide approach to improving our waterways and the communities around them.

The initiative brings together projects addressing:
• Water quality
• Aging sewer infrastructure
• Stormwater and flooding
• Wetland and habitat restoration
• Lakes and recreation

Rather than tackling these issues separately, the initiative connects them as part of one larger plan for Camden County's waterways.
