Mrs. Zabala’s class collected all of their PotatoHead pieces and got to celebrate their attendance this afternoon! Mr. PotatoHead brought slushies for the class to celebrate their effort to have everyone here every day. Congratulations to Mrs. Zabala’s class!

Ms. McCabe’s class was the first class to earn their attendance celebration with Mr. PotatoHead today! Each day that every student in the class is present, the class gets to add another piece to their PotatoHead. Once they collect all of the pieces, Mr. PotatoHead comes to visit the class and bring slushies! Coming to school every day is so important for our students, and we are so proud of Ms. McCabe’s class for showing up and earning their slushies!

Learning is in full swing at Dogwood!

Today, we visited Mrs. Schwantes and Mrs. Kirschke’s classrooms and caught some great learning in action! Our kindergarteners are mastering number writing and learning how not to get tricked by number reversals. Meanwhile, our preschoolers were all about pumpkins! They pulled out pumpkins with letters on them, then identified each letter and the sound it makes. What a fun way to combine fall fun with hands on learning!

We love seeing our Little Lakers learning, growing, and having fun along the way! 💜💛
