THE 2026 BROWN SANTA GOLF TOURNAMENT IS IN THE BOOKS!
What an incredible day and an amazing success for the Milam County Brown Santa Program!
This year’s tournament was one of our biggest yet, with an outstanding turnout of golfers, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters. Seeing so many people come together for one purpose was truly rewarding.
There are so many individuals and organizations who helped make this tournament possible. To our generous sponsors, golfers, volunteers, Milam County Sheriff’s Office staff, and the members and staff of the Rockdale Country Club, Thank you! Whether you donated, sponsored, played, volunteered, helped behind the scenes, or simply supported our program, you played a part in making this fundraiser a tremendous success.
Most importantly, every dollar raised helps us prepare for the upcoming Christmas season and fulfill the mission of the Brown Santa Program, helping provide Christmas gifts for children from low-income families throughout Milam County. That is what this day was truly about.
Attached are some photos highlighting our tournament winners, accomplishments, and memorable moments from the day, along with a photo recognizing the many sponsors who graciously supported this year’s fundraiser.
While the golf tournament may be over, our work is just beginning! In the coming weeks, we will begin getting Brown Santa applications out to families and schools throughout Milam County as we prepare for another busy Christmas season.
From all of us with the Milam County Brown Santa Program, thank you for believing in our mission, supporting our fundraiser, and helping us make Christmas a little brighter for children across our county.
We could not do this without you.

We are extremely grateful to have the support of former Texas A&M Head Football Coach R.C. Slocum and want to thank him for supporting the Brown Santa Program.

This special Aggie helmet will be auctioned off at the conclusion of our golf tournament this Saturday in Rockdale! Coach mentioned that he will personalize this helmet to the winner of the auction.

It means a great deal to have someone like Coach Slocum support our program and our mission of helping provide Christmas gifts for children from low-income families throughout Milam County.

Thank you, Coach!
