4 of our firefighters spent some time with the students from Camp Douglas Elementary School yesterday for fire prevention week!
The kids learned about how to charge batteries safely.
1.) Always use the manufacturer-approved cord and charger.
2.) Charge on a hard, flat, non-flammable surface.
3.) Unplug the device once it is fully charged.
4.) Charge larger scooters and e-bikes outdoors.
Also a lights out demonstration of our thermal imaging camera and how it works was a hit, kids got to see hands on what heat signatures look like through the camera!
