70 YEARS OF FORT VERDE DAYS! What a Saturday in Camp Verde. Our community showed up in a BIG way to celebrate the 70th Annual Fort Verde Days, and what a celebration it was!

From the packed parade route lined with smiling faces and hometown pride to the festival grounds filled with families, friends, entertainment, activities, and fun for all ages, Saturday was a wonderful reminder of what makes Camp Verde so special.

While Mother Nature had other plans for the remainder of the weekend, we don't want the rain to overshadow all of the incredible memories made and the hard work that went into bringing this milestone celebration to life.

A huge thank you to the organizers, volunteers, parade participants, vendors, local businesses, and everyone who came out to celebrate 70 years of this beloved Camp Verde tradition!

Take a look at some of our favorite moments from Saturday! We are already looking forward to making more memories together next year.

After the way today ended and much discussion with vendors and review of the weather forecast for the next 24 hours, we have made the difficult desicion to cancel the vendor portion of Fort Verde Days for Sunday, October 11th. The Chili contest and Little Britches/Little Petticoats contest will also be cancelled. Please know that Fort Verde State Historic Park will still have events happening and it is free entry at the Park. The Quilt Show will be happening in the gymnasium 9:00-4:00 and Dutch Oven cookers will still be offering breakfast and lunch from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Cook Shack/Redinger on Hollamon St.

Three b**rs. Three medals. One very proud Camp Verde!

We love seeing our local businesses put Camp Verde on the map, and Verde Brewing Company just gave us another reason to celebrate. Our very own Verde Brewing brought home THREE medals at the 2026 Arizona Craft B**r Awards, competing alongside more than 40 breweries statewide.

Silver went to Gold Buckle Honey L***r, brewed with locally sourced honey. Bronze went to the rich Bullpen Bourbon Stout, and Dark L***r earned Bronze for the second consecutive year. Founded right here in Camp Verde in 2013, Verde Brewing was the first brewery in the Verde Valley and continues to craft its b**rs in-house using local Sinagua Malt, locally sourced honey, and inspiration and ingredients from throughout our region.

Congratulations to the entire Verde Brewing team. We are incredibly proud to have award-winning craft b**r being brewed right here in the heart of Camp Verde. Next time you are in town, stop in, raise a glass, and taste an Arizona award winner for yourself
