WOW!! Thank you everyone! Lets meet that new goal 🥰
We have some amazing news to share!
First off: 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔!
Our generous community quickly rose to the occasion during the Thrivent Feed the Northeast Challenge and collected 500 items before October 15th. This put us in line to secure an additional $500 in matching funds that will go directly to the Friends of Mascoma Foundation Friends Feeding Friends Food Pantries to purchase items they might not be able to secure from the New Hampshire Food Bank.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐂𝐇:
Closing in on the end of the drive, we are at nearly triple our initial goal. Can you chip in a few items to help us reach 1500 or more?
Donations may be dropped off in the box on our porch:

🛒 Most wanted items include:
•Condiments like mayonnaise, ketchup, bbq sauce, ranch, jelly
•Baking goods: box kits, sugar, oil, flour
•Single serving snacks 🥨
•Spaghetti O’s & Chef Boyardee Ravioli
•Laundry soap
•Toiletries: soap 🧼, shampoo 🧴, conditioner, feminine hygiene products
•Toilet paper
•Side dishes: rice 🍚, noodles 🍜 , potatoes 🥔
•Instant dinner meal kits
Please check to make sure the items are in good condition with no packaging leaks or missing packaging and are within the sell-by date.
CLC will continue counting items towards our goal through October 31st. Our collection box will remain on the porch after that date and we will continue to transfer items to FOM. As the weather gets colder 🥶, please be mindful of donating only items that can withstand freezing temperatures outside. Temperature sensitive items may always be dropped off directly at Friends of Mascoma or at one of the supporting community locations with an indoor bin. A current list of those locations is located on FOM’s website.
