🔥 0926 Canadian VFD was paged out to SE Johnson St. We’re very familiar with this resident, he loves to burn, refuses to call in his control burns, illegally burns household trash & more, won’t stay with his control burns, then cusses us firefighters for responding to a call & refuses to let us do our job on scene! Once we key up our radios & ask for a Deputy, he takes off (bc he knows he’s in the wrong)!
🔥 There’s a legal protocol & responsibility for Control Burns‼️
(1) Call 918-423-1212 To Report Your Control Burn BEFORE Lighting It‼️
(2) Stay With Your Control Burn At All Times‼️
(3) Control Burns Are During Daylight Hours Only‼️
(4) Have a Water Source and/or Equipment Ready To Extinguish Your Control Burn If It Gets Out Of Hand & Spreads To Your Neighbors You Are Responsible For Any Damages‼️

One was Transported By Community EMS in Critical Condition. Four Others Checked Out Okay.

🔥0712 Canadian VFD was Paged Out To Another Single MVA on Hwy 69 the car slammed the center median.
🚑 3 was transported to the hospital

🔥 At 1255 Canadian VFD was Paged Out to Assist Indianola VFD on a BIG Grass Fire! Several FD’s are working on containing & extinguishing this fire! Fire Scene is still active, Please Stay Away From The Area So The Firemen Can Do Their Job 👨‍🚒
