🛑TRAFFIC CHANGE NOTICE:

Please be advised that the intersection of State Route 488 and Freshour Road is being changed from a 2-way stop to a 4-way stop on Wednesday 10/7.

Traffic will be cut down to one lane while construction takes place. The new traffic pattern will be in effect immediately following the completion of construction.

**UPDATE: The road has been reopened at this time**

ROAD CLOSURE at the intersection of 245/247 and Blodgett Road
Northbound traffic on 245 will be diverted up 247. Blodgett Road is closed at Clark Road, and Southbound traffic on 245 will be diverted at Phelps Road. If possible, please avoid the area.

Our team had a great time at the Car Seat Check event hosted at Canandaigua Fire Department with Canandaigua Police!

Did you know? If you want to check to make sure that a car seat is installed correctly, or you need help installing it, we do that by appointment! Just call 585-394-4560 and ask to speak to someone regarding a Car Seat fitting! This service is completely free, and is a resource to help ensure the kids in Ontario County are safe passengers!

CHILD SAFETY SEAT CHECK!!

The Canandaigua Police Department is coordinating a Child Safety Seat Inspection Event this Saturday:

Date/Times: September 26th, 2025, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Event: Canandaigua Fire Department, Station 1, 335 South Main Street, Canandaigua NY 14424.

8 out of 10 car seats inspected have issues with the installation, so stop in during this time for a FREE inspection of your child safety seat.

🍇 HEADING TO THE NAPLES GRAPE FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND? PLAN AHEAD! 🍇

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Town of Naples, is reminding festival-goers to plan their route before heading to Naples this weekend. Share this post to get the word out!

🚨 NOTE: State Route 21 in the Town of South Bristol will be CLOSED between Griesa Hill Road and State Route 64 for a culvert replacement project. The area to avoid is highlighted in RED on the map. The routes highlighted in BLUE are recommended alternatives, including routes from the north, northwest, and northeast.

⚠️ Expect heavier traffic on County Road 12, which is the posted detour for the Route 21 closure. Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, follow posted detour signs, and use caution around increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
