Today was a super fun and BRIGHT day of creating! We made crushed glass suncatchers! I love the ombré pumpkins, the blue truck, the red witch hat…SO pretty! Makes me want to make more! 🤩 Thank you to everyone who filled up my studio today!! 🎨

NEW CLASS!! Look what we did tonight, Kinusaiga!! A huge thank you to Rachel from A Crafter's Journey for driving all the way out here to host this SUPER fun class! This was SO much fun and we learned A LOT! Thank you to everyone who made it out and filled up my studio, hoping to get Rachel back out for more fun soon! 🎨

First class today, this sparkly canvas! We worked on this canvas less than 90 minutes and the glitter made it POP! 🤩 Thank you ladies for coming out to play with me today, come see me again soon! 🎨

Guess what I did on a school night?! 😜 I packed up my truck and headed to West Linn to play with 35…count ‘em…35 artists! We filled up the patio section of The Garage for a private company party and we made crushed glass sun catchers! Yes! Look at how purdy these are!! 🤩Thank you SO much DB for allowing me to be a part of your super fun, team building night! 🎨

They’re back!!! Today’s class was chunky blanket making! 🧶 Another new color today grabbed my attention and some people brought their own yarn so you never know what colors are going to come through the door! Thank you ladies for filling up my studio and for all the giggles today!! Come see me again soon! 🎨

We did it again! Lora from Hands On Art came and taught another fun clay date! Look are these creations! 🤩 A smaller class today meant multiple projects. Each item I make becomes my new favorite! Thank you so much to all who made it out today! Keep this class in mind as the holidays approach! It’s memorable and such a great time! 🎨

We’re painting this canvas next weekend and I’ve been on a canvas kick lately so I was trying to come up with ways to spice up canvas classes. Left unsupervised in my studio, I coated the tree on this canvas with modge podge and then poured crushed glass from my sun catcher class on top. Smashes it down, shook it off and viola! I think in this case I may have liked the original better but now that I know this is works - think of all the possibilities!!!… chunky white snow on winter canvases…sparkle and texture added to just about anything!! And yet another rabbit hole for me to go down! 😅 Give me some suggestions on what kind of canvases this texture would be beneficial. Trees, flowers, snow…what else?
