🦊❤️ **MEET VÖR — A LITTLE FOX WITH A BIG STORY** ❤️🦊

Sometimes, the smallest creatures arrive at Birds in Flight Wildlife Sanctuary with the biggest stories to tell.

Meet **Vör**, a beautiful little fox whose life began under circumstances no baby animal should ever experience.

Vör was found abandoned at a playground in Geauga County, Ohio. She was less than two weeks old.

Thankfully, a wildlife officer brought her directly to Birds in Flight Wildlife Sanctuary, where she could receive the specialized care she desperately needed.

There was concern that Vör may have been bred by a wildlife propagator—someone who breeds wild animals, sometimes for commercial sale—and then abandoned.

**Many people don't realize that wild animals can be bred and sold for profit.** It is an important issue in wildlife education, and one that deserves greater public awareness.

Whatever the circumstances of her beginnings, one thing was certain: this tiny fox needed help.

With proper nutrition, repeated visits to the veterinarian, and dedicated care from the sanctuary, Vör began to thrive.

Within a few weeks, that fragile little fox was becoming healthy, playful, and full of personality! 🦊❤️

Because of her circumstances and the care she required from such an early age, Vör was not a candidate for release into the wild.

Instead, she found a permanent home at Birds in Flight Wildlife Sanctuary, where she is now part of our educational animal program.

Today, Vör helps us share an important message:

**Wild animals are not simply pets or products. They are living creatures with specialized needs, natural instincts, and lives that deserve respect.**

At Birds in Flight, our mission is **Rescue ~ Rehabilitate ~ Release** whenever possible. And when release is not possible, we work to provide a safe, appropriate home and the best quality of life we can.

Vör may have had a difficult beginning, but her story is now helping others learn.

🦊 **Come meet Vör at THE ULTIMATE OUTDOOR ADVENTURE!**

📅 **Saturday, October 17 | 10 AM–4 PM**

📍 **Birds in Flight Wildlife Sanctuary — Canfield, Ohio**

🚗 **FREE parking at Gate 9A at the Fairgrounds, with FREE shuttle service!**

🎟️ **Adults $10 | Children ages 5+ $5**

❤️ **Come for the adventure. Leave with a greater appreciation for the wildlife we share our world with.**

Please share Vör's story and help us spread the word about wildlife education and conservation! 🦊🌿
