Today, our 8th grade students got the opportunity to participate in a living on their own financial simulation provided by the Fremont county 4-H and extension office along with multiple community volunteers.

Students took the first couple hours of the school day they were assigned individual jobs and learned about paying bills, renting or buying a house, visiting the doctor's office and all of those day-to-day things it takes to live on your own.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who take the time out of their day to make opportunities like this happen for students.

What a historic day! Today marks the first official competition for our newly formed girls wrestling program. This program has been a few years in the making and with a great showing today the hard work of so many to make sure our student athletes get this opportunity came to light. Thank you to everyone involved in getting this program off the ground. Thank you to the coaches who have worked to make sure our girls were successful. Congratulations to all the young ladies who placed or won the tournament today. Ccms Falcons finished 4th overall in a very good tournament.

What a cross country season for the CCMS Falcons. Our boys finished 4th in the state amongst very tough competition. Our girls ran very well today and we are proud of all of you.

Congratulations to Harper Murphy who finished in the top 20 in the state and was the only CCMS athlete with an individual award.

Thank you Dusty Brent Majors, Tara Rall and Brian Vaniwarden for all of your coaching this entire season.

This morning our boys and girls cross country teams set out for Denver in their quest for State cross country glory. Good luck to all the falcon runners and coaches today CCMS is already very proud of all of you and we can't wait to see what you bring home.
