Wondering where the quilt is at the tail end of its tour?? You can stop by and see it starting November 4 and the opening reception will be held on November 12 at the Steamplant Paquette Gallery in Salida!

🎨 50 Colorado artists. 50 canvases. One celebration of Colorado.

Join Salida Arts & Culture for our November Artist Reception featuring **Colorado 150**, a collaborative exhibition created with Fremont Center for the Arts and Sangre Arts Guild in celebration of Colorado’s 150th anniversary.

Each participating artist was given a 10x10 canvas and invited to paint a favorite part of Colorado. The individual works were then brought together to create one large art “quilt” — a colorful celebration of the places, perspectives, and creativity that make our state special.

The Colorado 150 Quilt is traveling throughout the state this year, and we’re excited to welcome it to the SteamPlant Paquette Gallery!

Come see the exhibition, connect with fellow art lovers, and celebrate Colorado through the eyes of 50 artists.

Starting November 1, Fremont Center for the Arts will begin accepting handcrafted ornaments for sale throughout the holiday season. Participation is open to all artists, and you do not need to be a current FCA gallery artist to take part. Each artist may submit up to five ornaments, with space available for 20 participating artists. Ornament sales will be split 70% to the artist and 30% to FCA, with proceeds helping support FCA's ongoing arts programming and community initiatives.

We made the connection, Emily got to work, and this week she finished her masterpiece. And WOW… it is absolutely stunning. The kind of artwork that stops you in your tracks and reminds you why supporting local artists matters.
