๐Ÿ’— Going pink for a cause that touches so many lives! ๐Ÿ’—

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, North Strabane Township Police Department, North Strabane Township Fire Department, and Hollywood Casino at the Meadows are partnering to raise awareness and show support for everyone affected by breast cancer. We want to thank 84 Sign Shop for installing the wraps for both vehicles.

Look for the pink police and fire vehicles around the communityโ€”a bright reminder to spread awareness, encourage screening, and support one another. Together, we stand stronger. ๐Ÿ’—

Washington County Multi Agency Resource Center

WASHINGTON COUNTY, PA - September 26th, 2026 - Many Washington County communities have experienced significant flood damage following severe rainfall on September 12 and September 20. In response, Washington County will host a MultiAgency Response Center (MARC) in partnership with Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency next week to help residents and businesses affected by the flooding connect with critical resources and aid.

The two-day center at the American Legion in Washington will bring together multiple county agencies, volunteer organizations, and state agencies, to include the American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Washington County Department of Human Services and more.

The MARC provides a central location for individuals and businesses to learn about resources which will include help with understanding insurance coverage, information on avoiding fraud and repair scams, and connections to local community support services.

"This is an opportunity to bring critical resources directly to the front door of those in need. We encourage anyone who has experienced loss or damage from these recent storms to take advantage of this opportunity to connect with those who can help as we, as a county, navigate the recovery process," said Gerald Coleman, Washington County Director of Public Safety.

Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC):

Dates: October 1st & 2nd
Time: 11 am to 7pm
Location: American Legion
168 Park Ave, Washington, PA 15301

Washington County Emergency Management continues to encourage residents and businesses who experienced damage to report it through the county's online damage reporting system. This information is critical as the county continues to assess the full extent of the damage at https://crisistrack.juvare.com/public/washingtonPA/request.html.
