The Christmas holiday season is approaching, and we want all families to know about two ways to participate in our Giving Tree Program.
First, if your family needs assistance this holiday season, applications are now available. Many families work hard to provide basic needs, but holiday extras just aren't in the budget. If this describes your situation, please contact your child's teacher, school nurse, or office to request an application. You can also print one from our website under the heading: Community.
When filling out the application, please be specific about your child's needs—like coats, gloves, socks, or pajamas with sizes—and their wishes, like specific toys, crafts, or books. This helps our volunteer shoppers choose items your child will truly enjoy.
Please note that prior approval does not guarantee approval this year, and all families must submit a new application to be considered.
Second, if your family is able to give back this year, we welcome donations and volunteers. Information about how to contribute is available on our school website.
Applications are due November 2nd. Families will be contacted by November 20th, and gift distribution is December 23rd.
