The Citizens Academy spent last night with the CFD! Participants got to see some great demonstrations, including hands-on fire extinguisher training, advanced life saving techniques, and our trucks in action.
Thank you to Tractor Supply for donating the fire extinguishers for the evening. We always enjoy the opportunity to share what we do and give our community a closer look at the work of our firefighters.

We want to give a heartfelt thank you to Trustee Ganguly for once again inviting our crews to the Hindu Temple to participate in Vahana Puja and receive blessings for our trucks!

We're grateful to continue this meaningful practice and strengthen our connection with the people we serve. Building relationships and celebrating the traditions of our community are an important part of being there for our neighbors.

Thank you for always making us feel welcome and for reminding us that the heart of our community is the people who come together to support one another.

Thank you to South Canton Scholars for having our crews out for a fire safety talk today! We had a large, engaged group with lots of energy, which always makes these visits so much fun for our team. We love getting out into the community and helping kids learn about fire safety.

The Citizens Academy spent some time with CFD tonight!

Participants learned about fire investigations, got an up close look at our apparatus, toured the station, and checked out our turnout gear room.

We enjoyed having everyone with us and look forward to seeing them again next week for another evening with our Firefighters.

What a great turn out for our annual CFD Open House!

Thank you to everyone who came out to spend part of your Saturday with us. We hope you had a great time and learned a thing or two about fire safety.

Don't forget this year's Fire Prevention Week theme: Safe Charging is a Superpower! Developing safe charging habits can help reduce the risk of lithium-ion battery fires and keep homes and communities safer.
