Mrs. McFerren visited all classrooms recently and read the story: The Most Magnificent Team. The story is about: teamwork, celebrating unique strengths, sharing ideas, and being a flexible thinker. Mrs. McFerren and our students discussed the story and then collaborated to create motivational posters for our hallways. Each student added their own unique flair to a square and then the message came together like a puzzle. Students received a journal and scented pencils as a little gift for participating. The posters look amazing!

Congratulations to Lincoln School on receiving The Community Impact Grant from the YWCA! The grant money will be used to purchase supplies for The Spooky STEAM Celebration where CHS Calculus Students will lead our Lincoln Elementary School students through a variety of Spooky STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) themed stations. We are so excited for this upcoming event and grateful for the YWCA for sponsoring. We thrive with these powerful community partnerships!

We would like to thank Josephine for using her sewing skills to fix our weighted dog. This dog is used in our sensory room and is very special to many of our Students. Thank you for making a difference!

Good Morning, Lincoln Families!

Due to the weather forecast, we have made the decision to postpone our Lincoln Family Night at The Snowman Reindeer Farm until Thursday, November 5th.

If you have already submitted your reservation form and payment, your reservation will automatically transfer to November 5th. If you are unable to attend on the new date, please contact the Lincoln main office, and we will gladly refund your payment.

We will also be sending home new reservation forms for families who have not yet signed up but would like to join us!

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. We were looking forward to spending the evening together, but we are hopeful that November 5th will bring better weather!

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We hope you can join us for a fun and memorable evening at The Snowman Reindeer Farm!

It’s been a few years in the making! Inspired by art at Miller Park Zoo in Bloomington IL, students first collected and sorted plastic bottle caps. Last Spring, K-4 students used power drills with Mrs. Gillam to create our very own double-sided butterfly art installation which is now a part of our Lincoln playground. Students practiced planning, safety, patience, perseverance, and problem solving skills while collaborating on our GIANT art. Check it out!

Thank you to the Canton Fire Department for coming to Lincoln on Friday and presenting to all k-4 students on fire safety. Our 2nd graders got to experience the Fire Safety house also. We appreciate your partnership!
