We're grateful for local leaders who show us that building bridges with a heart for service builds a stronger local community! 🤝🏡🔑 Our thanks to Sheriff Eric Weisburn and the Stark County Sheriff's Office for serving alongside Kimberlie to raise her interior walls, and to City of Canton, Ohio Mayor Bill Sherer, who stopped by to see the work firsthand as he keeps affordable homeownership a priority in our city.

Today, with help from our faithful friends at Church of the Lakes, she's a homeowner with an affordable 0% interest mortgage, and Breeze has his own room, his own window, and a whole new view of what’s ahead.

20 years. 20 hours. $20, today only! 👟🥇 Race over to runforhome.org before 3pm today to register for the 20th annual Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital Run for Home half-marathon, 5K, 10K, or One-Mile Fun Run for just $20 each—it helps build homes!

20’s are wild! To celebrate the 20th running of the Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital Run for Home, we will open registration with the “20’s Are Wild Special.” Starting at the 20th hour (8:00 pm) on October 20th, you can register for any Run for Home event for $20 for the next 20 hours (until 3:00 pm October 21st).
That means you have 20 hours to sign-up for the half-marathon, 5K, 10K, or One-Mile Fun Run for just $20 each. Registration for the team relay will be $60, that’s $20 per person. The clock starts ticking at 8:00 pm October 20th. The “20’s Are Wild Special” will end at 3:00 pm October 21st.
The 20th Annual Run for Home is April 10th and 11th, 2027. Go to www.runforhome.org for the complete schedule and more information.

On , one-year-old Vivian got to stand on the spot where her mom and dad are building their family’s foundation. 🪏This is our 20th new construction home of the build season, the place where James and Jasmine will see their hard work build generational wealth through affordable homeownership and a 0% interest mortgage, the place where they'll open doors of opportunity for themselves and their little Vivian.

Our Habitat team has a lot in common with the Cleveland Guardians—we both spend every day trying to bring people home! ⚾️ When Game 3 got moved to 1 p.m. to beat the rain, our team moved its afternoon accordingly. Laptops open, let’s go, Guardians!

As Casey's Furniture closes its doors after 63 years, we want to share how this family business looked out for families. 🛋️

For years, when the Casey's crew delivered a new couch to your house, they would often haul the old one out and bring it to Habitat ReStore, Canton if it still had good years in it. They brought discontinued pieces from their showroom floor, too. Their generosity in taking that extra step helped us build more homes, keep items out of landfills, and furnish living rooms across our community. That's more than six decades of caring for our neighbors, and it's a legacy worth celebrating.

To the Casey family: thank you for being such good neighbors for so long, and congratulations on a well-earned retirement. Enjoy every moment!

Casey's Furniture, which dates back to 1963, has announced it is closing its Jackson Township store. The owners are retiring.

It's pure joy when Habitat kids get to see the homes their parents built for the first time—their rooms, the spaces where they'll grow and make memories, and the doors they'll open every day. 🔑 That joy is what this year's was about: 2 families, 2 homes, and more than 20 of our Christian, Jewish, and Muslim faith partners who showed up to !

2 families, 2 homes, 1 inspiring community of faith in action! 🔑 Last night, we passed the keys and we counted the blessings of home with over 20 of our Christian, Jewish, and Muslim faith partners who joined us for this year's . Over 400 volunteers worked together alongside MyQuella and Josh and Karla as they realized a hard-earned dream of affordable homeownership. Thank you for !
