Building connections, supporting families, and strengthening our community!

Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health (C&A) was proud to join Jackson Bear Hugs at Amherst Elementary School’s Parent-Teacher Conference on Oct. 8.

C&A team members Amber Fletcher and Andrew Burwell (not pictured) connected with families, shared information about our programs and services, and helped raise awareness of the resources available to support children’s mental and behavioral health.

We are grateful for opportunities like these to meet families where they are, build meaningful community connections, and strengthen the partnerships that help us make a difference in the lives of children and families.

Thank you to Jackson Bear Hugs and Amherst Elementary School for helping create opportunities to connect, collaborate, and support our community!

Together, we can help children and families experience a life fill

Friday Night Lights has been dazzling all season! 🏈✨

This past Friday at GlenOak’s Bob Commings Field, the video board featured our Athletes Strong for Mental Health video highlighting the importance of sportsmanship.

Throughout the fall, these videos have been shared at high school stadiums across Stark County, helping remind student-athletes, coaches, families and fans that mental health is an important part of the game.

The Federal League created one video as a league, while other Stark County school districts created their own videos to share at their home games.

We’re proud to be part of this important conversation and grateful to see these messages making their way across Stark County!

Celebrating the Y's impact.

C&A was proud to attend this morning’s YMCA of Central Stark County Annual Report Breakfast, a wonderful fall-themed morning highlighting the meaningful ways the YMCA supports and strengthens youth and families throughout Stark County.

C&A is proud to partner with the YMCA and support its mission of helping children and families thrive. Through this partnership, C&A administers after-school programming at several YMCA locations throughout the area, providing children with opportunities to build relationships, develop social-emotional skills and grow in a safe, supportive environment.

Representing C&A at this morning’s event were Ashlie Lamp, Dan Mucci and Kim Cernansky.

We are grateful for our partnership with the YMCA and all they do to make a positive difference in the lives of children and families in our community.

Today's Paddles with Purpose brought fun, energy and friendly competition between C&A and the Boys & Girls Club at Hot Shots Pickleball Center. Unfortunately, Team C&A did not come out on top in either match.

The big winners today are the kids who are served by each organization. Paddles with Purpose raised money to support after-school programming at the Boys & Girls Club provided by C&A's prevention specialists.

We thank everyone who came out to support this amazing event.
