The town of Mexico, NY announced Tuesday it would change its name to Epstein List to avoid being targeted by President Donald Trump’s reported push to rename New Mexico to New America.

“We figured if we changed our name to something he absolutely doesn’t want to talk about, we might fly under the radar,” said town supervisor Mark Henderson.

Make a plan! Come celebrate your right to vote! Participants are encouraged to bring nonpartisan signs (I Voted Early!, Voting is our Superpower!, etc.) and are requested NOT to bring partisan signs.

Look for a few special guests: a living Statue of Liberty, Ben Franklin, and Wonder Woman! Children and the young-at-heart are welcome to come in costumes as well.

And while you're in town...

By no coincidence at all, this event coincides with the first day of in-person early voting in New York!l

One of the St. Lawrence County early voting sites is the Potsdam Central School Annex Building at 68 Lawrence Ave. It will be open from 9am to 5pm from Oct. 24 through Nov. 1 (and actually until 8pm on 10/26 and 10/28).
