HEADING HOME AFTER ANSWERING THE CALL!

As of this morning, all but one of our assisting crews have been released and are making their way back home to their families! These men and women dropped everything, traveled from near and far, and worked tirelessly to help our communities recover from Hurricane Isaias.

If you see these trucks heading out, give them a wave, a thumbs-up or a honk to show your appreciation! We ask that you keep them in your prayers as they travel home safely to the families who have been patiently waiting for their return.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! You came when we needed you most, and we will never forget it. Safe travels, friends. You'll always be part of our EREC family!

STATE FOREST UPDATE

🌲🚨Blackwater River State Forest Update 🚨🌲

Effective October 21, 2026, all campgrounds that were closed due to Hurricane Isaias have reopened except for Coldwater Equestrian Campground and Clear Creek Campground. The Bear Lake Mountain Bike Trail, Karick Lake Loop Trail, and the Camp Paquette Trail have reopened for normal use. All other trails and Recreation Areas remain closed as debris removal and cleanup efforts continue this week. Once areas have been cleared of debris and deemed safe, they will reopen for normal use. We apologize for any inconvenience.

🗳️ NORTHWEST FLORIDA VOTERS!

Following Hurricane Isaias, mail delivery was temporarily suspended in parts of Northwest Florida. With Election Day approaching, I want to remind everyone who requested a vote-by-mail ballot to check its status!

Visit your local county Supervisor of Elections website to make sure your ballot has been mailed, received, and accepted.

📬 Important reminder: Vote-by-mail ballots must be received by your county Supervisor of Elections office by 7 PM on November 3, 2026.

If you have concerns about your ballot or haven’t received it, please contact your local Supervisor of Elections office as soon as possible.

MULTI-AGENCY RESOURCE CENTERS

ℹ️Hurricane Isaias Multi-Agency Resource Centers UPDATE

📍Escambia County's two Multi-Agency Resource Centers, or MARCs, will be consolidating to one MARC location at the Bayview Senior Center starting Sunday, Oct. 25. The MARCs opened after Hurricane Isaias to provide residents with a central location to access storm-related resources and assistance.
