Some stories do more than move us. They move us to understand, to remember, and to care.

As we continue celebrating National Day on Writing, we recognize Douglas Taurel, writer and performer of The American Soldier. Through soldiers’ letters and firsthand accounts, Taurel brings the experiences of service members and their families to the stage with honesty, compassion, and heart.

More than an evening of theatre, this moving tribute is a call to listen—to recognize the sacrifices behind the uniform and carry these stories with us long after the curtain falls.

Experience The American Soldier at Cape May Stage, October 23–25. Three performances. Stories that stay with you.
