All drinks are paid for by donations from members and authorized guests on the Honor System, with suggested donations listed behind the bar. All active duty and reserve Chief, Senior Chief and Master Chief Petty Officers permanently assigned to the TRACEN and its tenants are considered Chief’s Club Members. All Chief’s Club Members are entitled to access the club. Active members of CPOA that work on TRACEN Cape May are entitled to access the club. Visiting Chiefs are welcome to use the club as well. Visiting retired Chiefs must be a member of the Cape May Chiefs Association to utilize the Chiefs Mess. Visiting Chiefs and visiting members of the CPOA can contact the base OOD or COM for access. The Chief’s Club can be reserved by a member for personal functions on a first come basis not to interfere with any command sponsored meetings or events. Contact the COTM for further information.

TCCM CPOA is again sponsoring a section of the Oceanview Trail of Terror this year. Opening weekend was a success, over 650 patrons came thru the trail. There are 2 more weekends left, so if you’re looking for a scare and want to support a great cause, come check it out. Beware, there are a few crazy Chiefs running around in the woods.

**THANK YOU, CASSANDRA GUZMAN—MS. VETERAN AMERICA 2024/2025**

A crown may mark a moment, but a year of service creates a legacy.

Throughout her reign, Cassandra Guzman represented Ms. Veteran America with grace, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to her sisters-in-arms. She showed up—not simply as a titleholder, but as an advocate, mentor, supporter, and sister.

Cassandra used her voice to help others feel seen. She offered encouragement when it was needed most, celebrated the victories of her fellow women veterans, and stood beside them through difficult moments. Her presence reminded us that leadership is not measured by the attention we receive, but by the lives we touch.

Cassandra, thank you for every appearance, every conversation, every act of kindness, and every moment you dedicated to this mission. Thank you for carrying the crown with dignity and representing the woman beyond the uniform so beautifully.

As your reign comes to a close, the sisterhood you strengthened and the impact you made will continue. You will always be part of the Ms. Veteran America legacy, and we will always be grateful for your year of service, support, and love.

**The crown may be passed, but your place in this sisterhood is forever.** 🇺🇸👑

A big thank you to everyone who came out to help haul the 36538 and wrap up another great season. We had a fantastic 2026 and truly appreciate everyone who volunteered their time and hard work.

We’re already looking forward to next year and hoping to bring a few more volunteers aboard to help lighten the load and keep this piece of Coast Guard history going strong.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this season a success!

Fellow Chiefs! If anyone is interested in helping out 🫡

CG 36538 info/Cape May Maritime

Greetings everyone, regarding the subject here is a quick update on hauling out the 36 for the season. Last year we kept her in to the first week of November, this year logistics and coordinating the Marina and Boat hauler required us to haul out early and we are scheduled for this coming Monday the fifth at Cape May Marina Lift at the Marina and then our boat hauler takes the 36 to Eckel’s diesel in Rio. Say 0830 at the marina. Need to take the mast down.
The 36 will be stored back up at Eckels Marine diesel for the off-season. If anyone has some free time and can just stop by for an hour or so up at Eckel‘s to help Chock the 36 that would be great. (Say 1000/1030). Reach out if you can and will update on when the boat is on the way to Eckel’s.

A follow up email will be sent on what we accomplished this season with the 36 and the maritime Museum.

Hope all is well. Stay well and enjoy the fall season.

You can put to reach out to either Ed Melega or John Gallego
