The morning at Story Time we read Scaredy Cat Splat, and then Heidi helped us make some cute Halloween decorations. 🎃 We also had a little farewell party for two of our long-time attendees who have had some life and schedule changes and won’t be able to join us after today. We will miss you sweet girls! 🥹💞

Parents as a reminder if your kiddos are too sick to be at school please don’t send them to the library. The library has so many shared spaces and items we really don’t want to spread any germs.

Lauren from the K-State Research and Extension office came back for Tween Time and helped the kids learn about soil by making pudding “dirt and worm” cups, and then they decorated herb pots and planted seeds. Thank you, Lauren! 🌱

This morning at Story Time we read Bear’s Scare, and learned that sometimes spiders are helpful friends. Afterwards Heidi helped them make the cutest spider hats and a fun little spider game. 🕷️ 😊 The kids were all delighted when a special friend showed up (last pic 🥰).
