The Jasper County Commission has lifted the burn ban, however we want to remind everyone that the District’s rules are still in place. If you are wanting to engage in outdoor burning you must call the main station at (417) 649-6062 in order to make sure conditions are right and to get on the list. Please be prepared for the following questions:
1. Name and address
2. Phone # for Fire personnel to contact in case your fire is called in by someone else.
3. To verify that you have a water source available to you.

Reminder that burns cannot be left unattended and must be completely extinguished when leaving the burning area. Thank you all for your patience during this.
