We had an amazing landing zone training today with Sanford AirMed!! They were very informative and let us check out their helicopter! 🚁 They also helped our staff brush up on some advanced patient care skills and instructed a great hands on class! Thank you to everyone who joined us today, and to Sanford AirMed for a wonderful morning of education! 🚑

Carrington Ambulance Service enjoyed lots of cute smiles and waves as we distributed LifeVacs to local daycare centers. This initiative follows a previous donation of Dechokers to these centers two years ago, which have since expired. The new LifeVacs are designed to enhance child safety and recovery in potential choking incidents. Additionally, Foster County Public Health has also received a LifeVac as part of this effort. Each daycare center received instructional guidance on the proper use of the LifeVacs, supplementing the clear instructions provided with the device, to ensure effective utilization in emergency situations until EMS crews arrive.

We had an Amazing training tonight with the Carrington community pool staff and lifeguards!! The training was focused on emergency care and improving the processes in place, if a true emergency does occur! Our Paramedics, EMTs, and CPR drivers all learned something and enjoyed a beautiful evening at the pool!! Thank you Tonia and all the lifeguards for your time and dedication to improving ourselves for the safety of our community!

✨We are pleased to announce our collaboration with Foster County Public Health on a special project. ✨
Their assistance has facilitated the acquisition of a versatile car seat capable of accommodating children weighing between 5-65lbs. This car seat will serve as an additional resource to ensure the safety of our pediatric patients. We appreciate the teamwork and support provided by Foster County Public Health, which will allow Carrington Ambulance to better serve our community! ♥️🚑

Their skill and professionalism were instrumental in navigating a potentially complex situation. Both individuals have been recognized with the Early Bird Award by the state of North Dakota for their outstanding performance.
