NOTICE OF BIDS
BOULEVARD TREE REMOVAL

The Tree Board Committee for the City of Carrington is letting bids for removal of 20 trees on city boulevards.

Sealed bids will be received until 4:30 P.M., Friday, October 23rd, 2026 at City Hall, 103 10th Avenue North, Carrington, North Dakota 58421.

A copy of the spec sheet indicating the location and number of trees may be obtained from the office of the City Auditor anytime between the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday or by calling 701-652-2911.

Bid opening will be held at the Tree Board Committee meeting on Monday, October 26, 2026 at 7:30 am at City Hall.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waiver any irregularities.

ATTENTION CITY OF CARRINGTON RESIDENTS:

Monday, October 26th, 2026 will be the last day of Brown tote (yard waste) pickup for the season. It will resume again in the spring. Residents will still be able to haul leaves and grass to the City Shop bins, located by the water tower if needed. Hopefully the weather cooperates with us.

The City of Carrington, ND will be accepting applications for an Equipment Operator position in the Public Works Department. Applicants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, hold a valid driver’s license, be able to obtain a commercial driver’s license and be able to pass a Class II Wastewater Certification Test, and Class II Water Distribution. Equipment operation experience preferred but not required.

Salary will DOE and full benefit package provided.
