🍀 Dimmit County 4-H Food Show! 🍀

We are incredibly proud of all the youth who participated in our Dimmit County 4-H Food Show! Our members showcased their creativity, nutrition knowledge, and culinary skills through dishes inspired by this year’s theme, Food Truck Favorites! 🚚🍎🥗

Throughout our Food Show workshops, members learned new skills, explored healthy food choices, practiced food preparation, navigated the grocery store, and built confidence in the kitchen. Congratulations to all our participants on their hard work and accomplishments!

🍀 Our Dimmit County 4-H Club members had a wonderful time at last night’s National Night Out! 💚

National Night Out is a great opportunity to bring our community together, strengthen relationships with local law enforcement and first responders, promote safety, and remind us of the importance of looking out for one another.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the event a success! It’s always special to see our community come together and build connections that make Dimmit County a great place to call home. 🤝✨

If your child is not enrolled, the meeting will not count toward the 3-meeting requirement set by our County Livestock Show Board.

To enter, send a photo of your carving to our Facebook along with the name of the member who created it and the county they are enrolled in as a 4-H member. Voting will take place on Facebook starting on October 27th. Happy carving!

🎣 3rd Annual Dimmit County Youth Fishing Day

What an incredible day on the water! We welcomed over 300 participants to this year's event, and approximately 130 fish were entered into the contest. It was wonderful to see so many young anglers and families enjoying the outdoors, learning new skills, and creating lasting memories together.

A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, and community partners who continue to support our mission of encouraging youth to stay active, connect with nature, and experience the great outdoors.
