Congratulations to TFRW President Zenia Warren, who was awarded the Ronald Reagan Leadership Award at the NFRW Convention in Orlando.

The award was established by the NFRW in 2005 to recognize the outstanding leadership of one state president and is presented every two years at the biennial convention. Warren and four other state presidents were selected as nominees based on overall leadership and initiation of new programs, increases in membership, participation in national programs, and excellence in public relations and campaign efforts.

TFRW has taken home this award back to back with Kit Whitehall winning in 2023.

We are deeply saddened and heartbroken by the murder of Charlie Kirk. This senseless act of political violence has shaken our nation, and we stand in solidarity with his wife, his young family, and the countless individuals whose lives he touched through his work and his faith.

As women of Texas, we know the devastating impact violence has on families and communities. Today, we join millions of Americans in prayer—for healing, for unity, and for a return to civility in our national dialogue. Political disagreements should never spill into hatred or violence.

Charlie’s life was dedicated to engaging young people, strengthening families, and advancing the values he believed in. His legacy will live on, and we commit ourselves to fostering the kind of community where differences can be debated passionately but peacefully.

We mourn with his loved ones, and we pray that God grants them comfort and strength in this dark hour.
