Petal Stanley Carroll County Clerk Hello, my name is Petal Stanley and I am the County Clerk for Carroll County I am now Carroll County Clerk-Elect and I thank you for your support.

I have been involved in working in elections in Carroll County since 2016 when Peggy McGaugh called me up and asked me to serve as an Election Judge. I worked almost every election since then until 2020 when a position opened up in the County Clerk's office and Norma Sparks accepted me into the position of Elections Deputy.

Notice: We will be conducting the Public Test of our automatic tabulating equipment on Thursday, September 24th, 2026, at 9am. We will have a bipartisan team testing all the equipment, and the Democratic and Republican chairs have been invited to attend. This Public Test is open to the public and will be conducted in the Break Room on the 1st floor of the Courthouse.
