What a blessing it is to have kids serve with us at the Friendship House! Watching parents model compassion, generosity, and joyful service to their children has been deeply encouraging. These young hearts show such eagerness to bless others, and it is beautiful to see them learning what it means to love those in need with kindness and care. We are grateful for every family that has served or brought donations and reflected the love of Jesus to us and our neighbors!

We’re grateful for those who joined us for our Serve Saturday distribution last week! We were able to serve 20 families! Our next Saturday distribution will be May 23rd. Come serve with us as we love on those who are hungry in our community!

One of the ways our Friendship House ministry has grown this past year is through special Serve Saturday distributions. This gives families and those who work during the week an opportunity to be a part and serve with us. We are grateful for those who have served with us so far!
Our next Serve Saturday is April 18! If you are interested in serving either for the morning or afternoon shift, please reach out to us!

Our Serve Saturday mobile pantry was fantastic! We were privileged to serve 127 families from our community. From an early morning set-up, to finishing the day with a taco fellowship, the day was filled with smiles, compassion, and blessing. We are deeply grateful to over 50 volunteers from our First Baptist Church at The Fields family who worked together to make this happen. You all were amazing! A big thank you to the Carrollton Citizens Patrol for directing traffic and Tarrant Area Food Bank for the generous load of food to share. What a beautiful opportunity to serve and love our neighbors together!

The Friendship House is excited to be a part of Serve Day this Saturday! Partnered with the Tarrant Area Food Bank, we will be hosting a Mobile Pantry for our neighbors, giving them another opportunity to receive food packages. Over 50 volunteers signed up to serve with us to make it all possible! Split up into two shifts, they will help put packages together, then later distribute. A huge thanks to our lead team for helping get it organized!
Serve Day is such a wonderful opportunity for our church family to come together and make a difference in our community. What is your Serve Day project? Go team!

We are excited about what is going on at the Friendship House!
Each week, our volunteers show up with generous hearts to serve families in our community with groceries, encouragement, and prayer. Because of their faithfulness—and the support of our church and community—we’re able to help many households put food on the table. Behind every food package is a story: a family going through a tough season, a senior on a fixed income, or a parent doing their best to provide. It’s a privilege for our team to serve them.
In the weeks ahead, we’ll be sharing more about our volunteers, ways you can help, and stories from the pantry. Thank you to everyone who makes this ministry possible!

Happy Thanksgiving from
The Friendship House! 🧡🦃🍁
We are so grateful for how the Lord provided through our amazing church family over these past two weeks. Because of your generosity, we were able to meet the needs of almost 400 families! Thank you for stepping in and donating food that will help make each family’s holiday truly special. Thank you also for the financial gifts that made it possible to provide a ham, chicken, or turkey for every household. May the Lord continue to bless your lives as you partner with us in serving our neighbors!

We are grateful for our generous church family! This week we served close to 200 families with the Thanksgiving food packages that were donated. There is still time to bring filled bags this Sunday! You can bring them to your Connect class or to the Friendship House. Thank you all!!
