CFB Champion Award
▪️ Mel and Candi Brekhus were honored with the CFB Champion Award. For more than two decades, the Brekhus family has sponsored Kacie’s run and have been long time supporters of CFBISD Special Olympics.

Student Awards
▪️ CFBISD recognized six talented Barbara Bush Middle School students who are heading to nationals after placing first in the state in coding and website design categories in the Technology Student Association competition. Congratulations to:

Carolyn Benavides and Cinthya Noda Vazquez were officially sworn into their board positions by Judge Blanca Oliver during tonight's special board meeting, followed by a celebratory reception. Thank you for your commitment to CFBISD!

The following board leadership positions were also approved:
Cassandra Hatfield was unanimously voted as President.
Kim Brady was unanimously voted as Vice President
Ileana Garza-Rojas was unanimously voted as Secretary.
