October 15 is just around the corner!
A friendly reminder that CFBISD's annual technology device fee is due Thursday, October 15, for students in grades 3–12 who receive a district-issued take-home device.

Annual Fee:
• $40 per student
• $25 for students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch

Why does this matter?
The fee helps maintain and replace student devices while providing coverage for one accidental damage repair or replacement per school year—helping families avoid potentially costly repairs!

Payment Options & Assistance:
✔️ Pay in full by October 15.
✔️ Set up a three-installment payment plan through RevTrack.
✔️ Apply for financial assistance if your family qualifies.

Uniforms are required beginning Monday, October 19!
Panther families, please make sure your student is ready to return from Fall Break in the required Polk Prep uniform and with their student ID.
👔 NEED A HUNTER GREEN TIE?
Ties will be available for purchase THIS WEEK:

Please remember: ties must be hunter green.
⚠️ Beginning October 19, students who arrive out of uniform will not be permitted to attend class and will be counted absent.

The Texas PTA Reflections Program is here! This year’s theme is “What My Culture Means to Me.” What does culture mean to YOU? Share your story, experiences, traditions, family, community, or identity through the arts!

📍 HOW TO SUBMIT:
Bring entries to Mr. Lockwood in E128 before or after school. Depending on the category, entries may also be submitted digitally by email or shared through Google Drive with [email protected].
Each entry must include the student’s first and last name, student ID number, a unique title, and a 10–100 word artist statement explaining the inspiration, connection to this year’s theme, and creative choices.
