This page is a page maintained by volunteers of the Carroll County Humane Society which is a non-profit organization and we do not have a facility. The Carroll County Humane Society's goal for this page is to bring publicity to the shelter animals in need of adoption. The shelter and the humane society are two different entities.

Did you see our beautiful Jess featured as Pet of the Week in the Times-Georgian this weekend? Let's cross our fingers it helps her get adopted. IF you missed it, here's the text of her entry:\

When Jess fixes her unusual David Bowie eyes (one brown, one blue) on you, it’s as if she is willing you to fall in love with her and take her home. This gorgeous girl is an Australian Shepherd mix with a winning personality and wonderful manners. At eight years old, she is in excellent health and has many more years of love to give. Her maturity is mixed with just the right amount of goofy playfulness. It would be a shame for her to get stuck in the shelter for very long, so please don’t pass her by to focus on younger dogs.

These sweet pups may be among those headed to the humane society's headquarters on Tuesday, Dec. 19, for a big off-site adoption event. Drop by 102 Tuggle Street, on the corner of Tuggle and Maple Street, between 12:30 and 3:30 to see some fabulous shelter dogs looking for new homes. They would love to have a lot of visitors come by to give them snuggles and belly rubs.

The adoption fee will be $25--- best deal in town. That covers the spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, heart worm test, and microchip.
