2024 is the 10th year we have been celebrating Water Professionals Appreciation Day in Georgia. In that time, your mission has not changed, nor has our appreciation for all you do:

Ten years of working quietly behind the scenes to protect Georgia’s water supply and to provide clean, safe drinking water to Georgia citizens.

Ten years of safely treating water once it leaves homes and businesses and returning it to the environment.

Ten years of ensuring our state’s water resources are protected and properly managed.

Each and every one of you is a critical part of the process of protecting public health and our environment--whether you work in an office designing processes, a plant managing treatment, a lab checking on the chemistry, or any of the many other aspects of our collective profession. YOU make a meaningful contribution and make a difference--Every. Single. Day.
