Some names are etched into memorials.
Others live on in folded flags, empty seats at family gatherings, and stories passed down for generations.
This Memorial Day, the Carrollton Police Department and Carrollton Fire Rescue honor the service members who gave their lives defending our nation and the loved ones who continue carrying that loss.
We remember them not just today, but in the freedoms their sacrifice protects every day.
