LSC joins in with CFBISD and the entire Carrollton Community in mourning the loss of Rev. Willie Rainwater. Rev. Rainwater has been a staple to the city of Carrollton and we will truly miss him. Rev. Rainwater allowed LSC to participate in the MLK Parade the past two years with open arms and always asked how he could assist LSC. Thank you Rev. Rainwater for creating a legacy that people will always remember in Carrollton, TX.

CFBISD mourns the loss of Rev. Willie Rainwater, a dedicated community leader who profoundly impacted the lives of many students and staff. We extend our deepest sympathy to Rev. ❤️Farewell to Our Favorite Cardinals: Little & Big CHIRPIE ❤️

As LSC closes this chapter, we celebrate two of the most joyful creatures that have brought our halls to life — Little CHIRPIE and Big CHIRPIE, our beloved Cardinal mascots. 👏

Little and Big CHIRPIE has been more than a mascot — they’ve been part of our heartbeat. They’ve danced at assemblies, cheered us on at different events, helped with outreach and reminded us to always lead with character, courage, and compassion.

💫 Little CHIRPIE showed us that even the smallest wings can make a big impact.

💪 Big CHIRPIE reminded us to rise above challenges and soar together.

Though Life School Carrollton is closing its doors, the Cardinal spirit lives on in the hearts of every student, teacher, and family who walked these halls.

So here’s to Little and Big CHIRPIE — and to every moment that made LSC a place we’ll never forget. 💛

🗒️ FAQ About LSC Closure/Next Steps❓

Q: When will we get our child’s final report card?
A: Final report cards will be emailed to you soon.
Check your spam folders as well.

Q: How do I request records?
A: Use the LSC Parent/Guardian Request Center.
Please note that at this time, we are only using email as the delivery method. https://forms.gle/hYm8v7SA3t6mQo7H9

Q: How long does it take for records to be sent?
A: Records are typically sent within 48-72 business hours, however things can come up and it may take longer than that. Please give grace and be patient.

Q: Why is it taking so long for my records request to be fulfilled?
A: Due to some unforeseen circumstances that happened a few weeks ago, it is taking slightly longer to get records out. Nearby schools have been made aware of the circumstances and understand that it might take a little longer for you as the parent/guardian to get certain records to them.

Q: Will my child’s new school ask for records?
A: Most times, yes. Most Texas schools will request records through a program called TREx. We recommend that you also request records to give automatically to the school of your choice. This helps make the enrollment process quicker for everyone involved.

Q: think I have money on my child’s lunch account. What should I do?
A: If you have money on your child’s lunch account, you should’ve received an email from Mr. Perry asking if you’d like to donate the funds to cover students in need or if you’d like a refund. Please check your email and respond.

Q: If I have any questions or concerns after the official LSC closure on June 18th, what do I do?
A: Mr. Perry will continue working as the Liaison at another campus and he will have all current LSC student records with him. You can email him directly at [email protected]. You may also email the District Enrollment Specialist at [email protected] or call Central Office at 469-850-5433.
